At ClipMyPaws, we stand behind the quality of every electronic product we sell. This Warranty Policy outlines your rights and our obligations in the unlikely event that a product you purchased develops a defect. Our warranty is offered as an additional assurance of our commitment to your satisfaction — not a limitation of any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country.

1. Scope of This Policy

This warranty applies exclusively to electronic products purchased directly from ClipMyPaws (clipmypaws.com). It does not apply to accessories, consumable parts (such as replacement blades, combs, or charging cables unless they were the source of the electronic defect), or any non-electronic item sold on our store.

2. Warranty Period

All eligible electronic products are covered for a period of 12 months from the date of confirmed delivery to the original purchaser.

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that originate during the manufacturing process and result in a measurable drop in device performance or render the product completely unusable under normal operating conditions.

Examples of covered issues include, but are not limited to:

  • Motor failure not caused by external damage or misuse
  • Internal electronic component failure under normal use
  • Battery defects that prevent the device from holding or receiving charge, originating from manufacture
  • Significant and abnormal loss of suction, power, or operational capacity traceable to a manufacturing fault

4. What Is Not Covered

The following circumstances void the warranty and will result in a claim being declined:

  • Physical damage — drops, cracks, dents, broken parts, or any damage caused by impact
  • Water or liquid damage — exposure to moisture beyond the product's rated specifications
  • Unauthorized modification or repair — any attempt to open, modify, or repair the product by a party other than an authorized technician
  • Use of third-party or incompatible parts — including non-approved blades, attachments, or chargers that caused or contributed to the defect
  • Normal wear and tear — gradual performance decline expected over the lifecycle of the product
  • Improper use — operation outside the conditions or purposes described in the product manual
  • No proof of purchase — inability to verify the original purchase from ClipMyPaws

5. Warranty Remedy

Where a valid warranty claim is approved, ClipMyPaws will provide a free-of-charge replacement unit of the same or equivalent model. No monetary refunds are issued under this warranty. Replacements are subject to product availability.

6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via email - help@clipmypaws.com or through the contact form on our website.
  2. Provide your proof of purchase — your order number or order confirmation email from ClipMyPaws.
  3. Submit a video clearly demonstrating the defect or malfunction. The video must show the issue occurring under normal operating conditions. Written descriptions alone are not sufficient to process a claim.
  4. Our team will review your submission within a reasonable timeframe and respond with a decision or any follow-up requests.

7. Product Return for Inspection

In most cases, you will not be required to return the defective product. However, ClipMyPaws reserves the right to request that the product be sent to us for physical inspection if the submitted video evidence is insufficient to confirm the reported defect.

If a return for inspection is required, all shipping and handling costs associated with the return are the sole responsibility of the customer. ClipMyPaws will not reimburse return postage or related fees.

8. Claim Eligibility Conditions

A warranty claim will only be considered valid when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The claim is submitted within the 12-month warranty period from the delivery date
  • The product was purchased directly from clipmypaws.com
  • A valid proof of purchase (order number) is provided
  • Video evidence of the defect is submitted as requested
  • The defect is determined, at ClipMyPaws's sole discretion, to be a factory defect
  • None of the exclusions listed in Section 4 apply

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClipMyPaws's total liability under this warranty is limited to the provision of a replacement product as described in Section 5. ClipMyPaws is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product defects or warranty claims.

This warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence. Where local consumer law provides stronger protections, those protections will apply.

10. Warranty Transferability

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not extend to second-hand buyers or recipients of gifted units where the original purchaser cannot be verified.

11. Changes to This Policy

ClipMyPaws reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Changes will apply to purchases made after the updated policy is published. The warranty terms in effect at the time of your original purchase will govern your claim.
